Overview

Civil Engineering is the oldest branch of engineering. An evergreen branch with always increasing demand, Civil Engineering deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of various structures like buildings, roads, canals, bridges, dams, etc. During the four-year course, students undergo various subjects like Geotechnical, Structure, Environmental, Transportation, Surveying, Water Resources, Concrete technology, Building material, Estimation & Costing, Project Planning, etc. Students are exposed to practical work by working in various established state-of-the-art laboratories.

Jodhpur Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jodhpur, has been conferred with Autonomous Status for a period of ten (10) years from the session 2020-2021 to the 2029-2030. For earlier batches, the institute is affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU); hence as of now, we are following two different course curricula for final year students' syllabi of BTU and, for the remaining years, the autonomous syllabus.
