Medipulse, accredited under NABH and NABL, boasts an installed capacity of 300 beds and provides all healthcare services under one roof, making it the ideal place for learning.

The MBA program is designed in a manner that gives the student new age skills and offers flexibility if they want to to discontinue in between.

Internship Period 

1st - 6th month

  • General Hospital Overview and Exposure to various departments. 

  • Students will be eligible for a certificate at the end of 6 months.

Internship Period

Specialization period. 

13th - 22nd months. 

  • Students will choose a department and work extensively in that broad Department.

  • Rs. 12,000 per month  

Diploma Period.

7th - 12th month

  • Dedicated training in 3 departments depending upon the students’ choice, for two months each -  

  • Students will be eligible for a Diploma at the end of the 1st year. 

Specialization period.

  • The student has to pick a dissertation topic and present it to the Board of Management.

The MBA in HM is designed for a student with Hospital related case studies and focuses on practical in-depth industry experience whereas, as a general MBA, it is focused on classroom learning.

5. Would I be able to work in the nonhospital industry after finishing my MBA in Hospital Management.

Yes, the way the course is designed, You will be able to work in other industries as well. The course covers the basic of an MBA but is taught from a healthcare perspective. The same principles can be applied in a nonhealthcare setting as well as the fundamentals of Management remain the same.

6. Would I offer a placement at Medipulse or JIET Hospital?

Once you clear your MBA in Hospital Management, five students from each batch of 20 will be selected at the package of 3LPA. Other students would be helped by the placement desk to secure a job in another organization.

7. What will be the distribution of teaching and working at Medipulse?

There will be equal weightage of teaching and learning at Medipulse, but all theory subjects would be designed and aligned as per the practical day-to-day issues of running a healthcare center so that a student makes the best use of his two years at the same time earning a stipend.

8. How is this MBA different from other MBAs in Healthcare management?

All other MBAs have limited industry exposure, whereas the MBA in HM at JIET has industry exposure from day one. Moreover, the subjects are taught by clinicians as well, which is generally missing in most of MBAs.

9. Where will the classes be?

The classes will be held both in JIET as well as Medipulse Hospital. The students would be given exposure at JIET Medical College and Hospital as well.

10. Is a Laptop mandatory?

Yes, a Laptop is a must.

11. Is work experience required for JIET - MBA in Hospital Management?

Work experience is always considered when applying for an MBA program.

12. Do you have transferable credits?

No, at the moment, we don’t have transferable credits.

13. What will be the total duration of everyday - Study plus internship?

The total duration would be 9 hours every day with 45 minutes break.

14. Will my Stipend be deducted if I take leave in between?

Yes, there are a fixed number of leaves, after which there will be a deduction in Stipend. Moreover, you would be required to 80 percent attendance.

15. Where will the exams be conducted?

The exams would be conducted at JIET as well as Medipulse.

16. Is there any scholarship available for MBA In Hospital management?

17. What are the fees for two years?

2.40 Lac is the fee for two years.
