NCHMCT
+ National council for hotel management and catering technology was set up in the year 1982 as an autonomous body by Govt. of India. The mandate of the NCHMCT is to co-ordinate the growth and general advancement in the development of Hospitality management education through its affiliated institutes.
+ NCHMCT is the affiliating body and 21 IHMs (Central), 28 IHMs (State), 01 IHM (PSU) and 13 FCIs are affiliated to its admission and regulations of examinations with the support of Ministry of Tourism. In addition 29 private institutions are affiliated for its training programme under NCHMCT.
+ Eleven numbers of different professional programmes (Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Diploma, PG Diploma) are being conducted in the affiliated Institutions.
+ The NCHMCT also conducts Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) on all India basis for admission to the I year of the 3-year B.Sc Programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for its affiliated institutes.

The three years B.Sc in HHA program (Generic & Vegetarian) is being imparted in the affiliated institutes under NCHMCT jointly with IGNOU on regular mode.
Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent from the recognized board and English as one of the subject
Admission procedure: The admission will be done in the NCHM-affiliated institutes through NCHM JEE. The NCHM joint entrance examination will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India in the major cities.
NCHM JEE Date:June 18, 2022 (Time: 10 AM- 01 PM): Interested candidates read the information bulletin on the NTA website carefully and apply online in the portal of www.nchmjee.nta.nic.in web portal also.
Test pattern: The NCHM JEE will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) in the following pattern:

Test Centers: The NCHM JEE will be conducted at more than 75 centers in the major cities which covers all over the country.
Counselling and Admissions: On the basis of NCHM JEE Merit (AIR), counseling will be conducted in four rounds through online portal. Detailed counseling procedure will be available on the official website www.nchmcounselling.nic.in

Odd Semester End term Examination of B.Sc (HHA) III and V Semester

About 95% of the graduates are employed by hospitality and other service sectors through on-campus and off-campus recruitment processes.
The ODD semester, term-end exams, session 2021-22 are commencing from 15th November and 29th November 2021 for B.Sc. SEM 5 & SEM 3 respectively.
1. The ODD semester, B.Sc. & M.Sc. term-end exams, session 2021-22 will be conducted on the online mode like previous semester exams. The Online Mock Test for the B.Sc. Sem 5 and Sem 3 (regular & reappear) exams will be conducted on 02nd November 2021(Tuesday) at 10 am. The students will get the instructions and the passwords a day before the examination. Fresh SAB tool links and app links will be sent along with the passwords. Old apps will not be functional for the upcoming exams.
2. Change in the examination pattern and introduction of the subjective question in the online exam, this is to inform you that online exams will be 100% MCQ only. Max marks for the upcoming term end online exams will be 100 & will contain 80 MCQs.
