Presently working as Professor and Head (Mentoring) in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jodhpur Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jodhpur. Additionally, working as Dean (Academics) in handling all core departments. PhD in Electrical Engineering from MBM University, Jodhpur. ME in Power Systems from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. B.E. in Electrical Engineering from JIET, Jodhpur. Area of expertise is in Thermal Modeling of various electrical machines. The areas of interest are in the subjects of Electrical Machines (AC and DC), Electrical Machine Design, Electric Drives and their Control and Transmission & Distribution of Electric Power. Guided 5 M. Tech. scholars. Published more than 5 research papers in the International Journals and also presented research papers in more than 10 International Conferences. Attended more than 15 Workshops/ STTP/ FDP. Developed the web-enabled experiments of Power Electronics Lab (Virtual Lab) in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee on March, 2024. Committee member of the AICTE- IDEA Lab (IDEA2024000120) at JIET, Jodhpur for coordinating and initiating activities. Successfully completed the MODROB project for the Electrical Drives Laboratory at JIET, Jodhpur under the AICTE scheme, with a sanctioned amount of ₹16.66 lakh in 2023. Also awarded the FIRST PRIZE for Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid Awards of Best Papers in an International Conference ICREU – 2020 organized at Coimbatore Institute of the Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Presented a research paper overseas (Dubai) in an International Conference in the year 2016.
