Mr. Amit Singhal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jodhpur Institute of Engineering & Technology (JIET), Jodhpur. He has more than eight years of teaching experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Poornima University, Jaipur. He completed his M.Tech. in Power Systems from University College of Engineering, Kota, in 2016 and earned his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Swami Keshvanand Institute of Engineering and Technology (SKIT), Jaipur, in 2013.
His teaching and research interests include Electrical Circuit Analysis, Control Systems, Power System Protection, Power System Stability, Load Frequency Control, Renewable Energy Sources, and the application of Machine Learning in modern power systems.
Mr. Singhal has published more than eight research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Recent Trends in Engineering, Science and Management for his research contribution. He has actively participated in more than ten Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), Short-Term Training Programmes (STTPs), workshops, and webinars to enhance his academic and professional expertise. Additionally, he has successfully completed seven NPTEL certification courses offered through the SWAYAM platform, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.
