Resonance Annual Fest
Resonance is a techno-cultural festival organized by the JIET Group of Institutions that provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity in various cultural, technical, and sports events. It aims to escape the monotony of everyday life, allowing students to explore new horizons and express themselves fun and engagingly. The festival promises to be an adrenaline-pumping experience, with various activities and events that will appeal to multiple interests. Resonance provides a platform for students to bring out their inner Shakespeare, Picasso, or Jackson and showcase their versatility through cultural events and activities. But Resonance is not just about having fun and chilling out. The festival also focuses on the essence of technical education, keeping the spirit of scientific and literary exploration alive through various technical and academic events.
SPIC MACAY 2023
JIET Universe hosted the distinguished SPIC MACAY Shruti Amrat event on the 29th and 30th of April at their Jodhpur campus, underscoring the depth of Indian classical art. This collaboration with JIET University offered a singular platform showcasing maestros like T. H. Vinayakram, Selvaganesh Vinayakram, Teejan Bai, and Hari Prasad Chaurasia. These virtuosos, each specializing in unique classical forms, promised an enriching experience for students and enthusiasts. The event stood as a golden chance for attendees to immerse in the richness of Indian classical music and dance, enhancing their appreciation and understanding."
Meraki-Fashion Show
Meraki - as the literal meaning says, something that's done with our heart and soul is the annual fest of the Design Department that showcases the annual work of the Design Department on a grand level, giving students opportunities to showcase their talents through various exhibitions and fashion shows. It was organized with full zeal and enthusiasm on the theme of 7 Sisters of Paradise.
Super Chef Junior
Jodhpur Institute of Hotel Management collaborated with Mr. Genius Jain (Jodhpur Foodie) to host an ultimate culinary competition for students (below 18) of different schools of Jodhpur from 28th of January, 2023 to 1st of February 2023 in which about 86 contestants participated. The event lasted for five days: the Salad Round, Team Round, and Finale Round. The finale's beauty lies in how the contestants combine their creativity, skills, and imagination with the resources given to them and create a masterpiece on the plate. In this culinary battlefield, Participants' dishes were judged based on taste, presentation, and knowledge about food.
Hackathon (RECKON)
In March 2023, the 36-hour national hackathon, RECKON 4.0, took place at the JIET campus, attracting over 1000 students from 48 institutions. The event, supported by tech giants like Filecoin and Postman, commenced with an online contest, leading to 100 of the 190 submitted projects advancing to the in-person round. Informative workshops by Postman and Programming Paathshala offered attendees enhanced skills and insights. The hackathon wasn't just a competition; it was a hub for innovation and collaboration, where participants gained mentorship from IT maestros. RECKON 4.0 stood as a testament to the unity of talent, tech sponsors, and computer science experts.
Prayas Open House
Our JIET Group organized an Open House: PRAYAS - 2023 from August 8th to 10th, 2023.
As we all were aware, this event was organized to provide prospective students with an opportunity to explore our achievements, Laboratories, Workshops, and other infrastructures so that students could gain insights into our academic programs and campus life. It was an excellent occasion for us to showcase the vibrant academic environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and diverse opportunities available at our institutions.
Start-up Meet
We are pleased to share that Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jodhpur, conducted the "Jodhpur Start-up Business Meet," Jodhpur. Start-up cases these days in Rajasthan are stepping forward, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that Jodhpur's participation in this can be written in golden letters.
Training and Placement Cell and JIET- Department of Management Studies jointly organized the "Jodhpur Start-up Business Meet," which was the first significant event of its kind at Jodhpur in collaboration with the ISTART to develop an ecosystem for start-ups.
