Overview

Jodhpur Institute of Hotel Management offers a Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, a 1½ year diploma level program in confectionery and Patisserie study. This program comprises internship, theoretical and practical study. It is open to 12th pass students of the +2 system who must have studied English as one of the subjects.

The Course duration of the diploma is 1½ years, including six months of Industrial Training. In this course, candidates are taught about baking, heating, refrigeration, freezing, and interactions/ reactions of ingredients used in the bakery and confectionery process. Therefore, candidates who wish to make a future in this field need to be passionate about baking.

  • Performs work activities effectively and efficiently to the standards expected in the operation required in the tourism industry/hospitality sectors.

  • Analyses situation, identifies problems, formulates solutions and implements corrective and/or mitigating measures and action management into foodservice and lodging operations.
